Information we collect. When you order or contact us, we collect information needed to respond and fulfil the order: your name, phone number, email where provided, delivery address and map pin, ordered items and quantities, delivery instructions, communications, payment or refund status, and transaction references.

If you voluntarily provide allergy or dietary information, we use it to assess and handle your request. Please provide only information relevant to your order.

The order service uses IP addresses for request and failed-login rate limiting. Its HTTP request logging is disabled. We use no analytics or advertising tools.

How we use information. We use information to check delivery coverage, confirm and prepare orders, arrange delivery, provide support, reconcile payments, process refunds, maintain necessary business records and protect our services against misuse.

We send only order and service messages, with no marketing messages.

Payments. When Razorpay payments are enabled, payment credentials entered into its payment interface are handled by Razorpay and relevant payment providers. SKR receives transaction information needed to reconcile payments and refunds.

We do not ask customers to disclose UPI PINs, card PINs, CVVs or OTPs to SKR staff. Card and UPI details are entered on Razorpay’s checkout; payment card data never reaches SKR’s servers. We store Razorpay order and payment IDs, the associated SKR order ID, amounts attempted and received, amounts applied to the order, payment-attempt and receipt timestamps, and order payment status. Cookies and similar technologies. Our website uses no cookies. localStorage holds saved addresses and the last selected address, dish and bulk baskets, favourites, recent request access details and the motion preference until you clear them in your browser (or remove saved entries). sessionStorage holds access details for the latest shop order for the browser tab’s session. There are no analytics or advertising tools.

You can clear saved browser data through your browser settings.

Who receives information. Information needed to prepare and fulfil orders is shared with relevant kitchen staff and delivery personnel. Payment and refund information is shared with the enabled payment provider.

The ordering service is hosted on a Hostinger VPS in Mumbai, India. Phone and WhatsApp are used for order and service communications. When configured, Gmail sends service emails and email verification codes, and MSG91 or a configured HTTPS SMS provider sends phone verification codes. When enabled, Expo delivers staff order notifications. Google Maps provides maps and address search when configured; fallback maps use OpenStreetMap tiles and Leaflet assets from unpkg. Google Fonts serves website fonts. Map, font and asset providers receive browser requests, including the IP address; map services also receive the map searches or locations needed for their features.

We may disclose information where required by applicable law or where necessary to handle fraud, complaints or disputes.

Retention. Order and payment records are retained for 8 years from the end of the financial year. Other enquiry messages are kept for up to 12 months. Saved addresses and preferences remain only in your browser until you clear them.

After those periods, we delete or anonymise information unless continued retention is necessary for an unresolved complaint, dispute or applicable legal requirement.

Security. We use HTTPS throughout the website. Staff tools require login, and staff APIs check authorization before allowing access to private records. Payment card data never reaches SKR’s servers. No online service can guarantee absolute security.

Your requests. To request access, correction, deletion, information about sharing, or withdrawal of consent where relevant, email hello.skrkitchen@gmail.com with the subject “Privacy request”. Describe your request and include the phone number or email used for your order and, if available, the order number.

We may ask for proportionate verification before disclosing or changing information. Do not send payment credentials or identity documents unless we explain why they are needed and provide an appropriate method.

If we cannot fulfil a request completely, we will explain why, including any necessary retention. Withdrawing permission for information needed to fulfil an order may affect our ability to complete it.
